January 2003

I would like to welcome you to our new community, the Needlecraft University. As you might know, we started on January 1st and this is our first eNewsletter. We are very excited about the welcome message that we have received from you and all other Needlecraft enthusiasts that have visited the site, registered for classes, and overwhelmed us by their encouraging comments. Thank You! That pushes us even harder to bring you more new classes and teachers.

What to do with that stash?

We live in exciting times. These days whenever we enter a craft store or yarn shop, we find new products in wonderful colors and textures. Personally, I like to touch them all, try them all, and have them all. Then the guilt factor kicks in, what should I do with my stash? Should I buy more? Can I work on them in my lifetime? No doubt many of you go through this process and can relate to what I say.

Needlecraft University has the solution. By taking classes at NU, you will find ideas to use your stash or use new products. You will learn new techniques, chat with your peers and work on beautiful projects. You will have the teacher's full attention in case you have a question or run into a problem. It is just like taking a private class with your favorite teacher, but in the comfort of your own home and around your own schedule.
