A progress report on Knitting/Crochet for a worthy cause

At this time of the year everybody is busy with Holiday Season's activities, so I thought I would only report on the progress regarding "Caps for the Capital" program and "Operation Gratitude".

After I wrote the November article, I received 66 caps from my friends at Marin Knitter’s Guild (A photo of a few of them is available at www.craftland.com/donation). Considering the 35 caps that my mother-in-law and I have knit and the ones that my friend Susanne has crocheted, I have collected 101 caps, which is amazing. I am planning to mail them right after Christmas. By then I am sure I have many more caps to mail.

We also managed to make three scarves for Operation Gratitude and I know member of the guild are working on some more. You can see photos of caps and scarves at www.craftland.com/donation. If you have worked on any projects for these programs, send us a photo and we will add them to our collection.

Have a wonderful Holiday Season. Stay safe and healthy.
